MEET YOUR PUBLISHER
As a Fairfax resident for over 30 years, I am passionate about connecting people and ideas. 

I'm Monique, mom to a son in college and a Havapookie fur baby.  My interests include cooking, audiobooks, traveling, DIY home projects, crafting, and exploring local restaurants and businesses!  

Having owned an award-winning custom cake and catering company for 17 years, I built relationships with families across the DMV. During my 13 years as a local PTA President and leader, I served on various school, county, district, state, and national levels. 

Becoming a publisher for Macaroni KID Fairfax-Burke-Oakton-Chantilly, VA was an easy choice. The Macaroni Kid mission to connect families with enriching experiences aligns perfectly with my passion for curating content, insights, and resources that improve our community's lives. 

My goal at Macaroni KID is to provide a digital, social, and personal connection between our readers and awesome local businesses.
