Santa has come to town with a bunch of fun in store for all the kids. He's brought along his elves and they are there to walk you through a one-of-a -kind holiday experience at the Fair Oaks Mall featuring Santa's Flight Academy available November 11 - December 24. If you are looking for more than your average photo with Santa, this is the place to visit.
When you arrive, you'll see the huge sleigh that's loaded with gifts. Your child's picture is taken and a badge is made with his or her name. You'll be led to an area where they will measure height, shoe size and glove size. The picture of your child will then appear on a screen showing their photo in the flight suit. Next up is Santa's Flight Navigation Center. This area has buttons that will allow your children to see Santa's "flight plan" for his deliveries. There is also a switch for the kids to pull so they can help load his sleigh. Don't forget to share your holiday cheer by speaking into the power station. How else will Santa power up his sleigh? You then test the engine, always make sure the invisibility shield is working along with other important functions such as Santa's seat warmer. As you continue to Santa you will step inside an area known as the "Enchanted Snowfall Dance Area" and it is truly enchanting. Finally, the moment that your child has been looking forward to, Santa. He calls your child by name and talks to each child about their wish list. The pictures are taken and the experience (and what an experience it is) ends. There is a variety of photo packages and other items you can purchase.
Santa's Flight Academy was such a thrill for my son. This will surely be a popular experience so visitors are encouraged to pre-register their children.
